Revamping Program of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum at Grass root level reaches District Shopian, Mr Tariq Ahmad Lone nominated as State Spokesperson JKTF whereas Mr Gulzar Ahmad Dar nominated as District President JKTF Shopian.

Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum in its another move nominated Senior Trade Union Leaders Mr Tariq Ahmad Lone as State Spokesperson whereas Mr Gulzar Ahmad Dar was nominated as District President, Mr Gh Nabi Lone as Vice President & Mr Rayaz Ahmad Khan as District Secretary JKTF District Shopian. The move took place in a well organised function at Shopian which was attended by scores of teachers hailing from adjoining areas of District Shopian. JK Teachers Forum nominated District body to rum the affairs of the organization besides helping teaching community of the District in resolving their day to day issue. The move further inducted various members including Mr Imtiyaz Ahmad Shah, Mr Ab Rafiq Bhat, Mr Mohd Ashraf Malik, Mr Reyaz Ahmad Mir in State apex as well.
The meeting was presided by Mr Mohd Amin Khan Vice Chairman JKTF who was accompanied by State General Secretary JKTF Mr Peer Nissar Ahmad, Provincial V. president Mr Farooq Ahmad, Distt President Kupwara Mr Ab Qayoom, Distt President Pulwama Mr Javid Ahmad Khan, Mr Mushtaq Zahid & Mr Ab Rashid Wani.
The participants whole heartedly welcomed the guests & expressed their hope in leading the organisation towards new heights. In the same time they highlighted various issues & concerns confronting them which stands unaddressed for long now. They also highlighted the hardships being faced by teachers during online/offline teaching amid lockdown.
While addressing the gathering Mr Mohd Ameen Khan Vice Chairman JKTF highlighted the role of organization in achieving different milestones. He also explained the need for revamping the organisation. He also appealed teaching fraternity of Distt Shopian to join hands in order to protect the sacred organisation lead by its Chairman Mr Mohd Rafique Rather which is custodian of the rights of both teaching & students community as well and added that the leadership will leave no stone unturned in fulfilling the Commentment of the organisation to the teaching community.
Meanwhile Speaking on the occasion State General Secretary JKTF Mr Peer Nissar Ahmad also laid emphasis to strengthen the organisation at ground level.
Addressing the gathering newly elevated District President extended his support & cooperation to JKTF lead by Mr Mohd Rafique Rather for the welfare & betterment of organisation as a whole. While expressing satisfaction on the work culture of leadership & its Chairman, he said that what the leadership achieved in short Spain of time could not be done in last few years by the so called leaders who have lost the mandate of teachers.
He also urged teaching community to unite & strengthen the hands of Leadership. Time has come when we need to speak in one tune to get issues of teachers addressed, he also added.
It is pertinent to mention that Mr Gulzar Ahmad Dar was Unanmously nominated as Distt President where as Mr Suhail Ahmad, Mr Ab Qayoom Chachi, Mr Mohd Younis Mailk, Mr Gh Hassan Bhat, Mr Gh Hassan Tasleem, Mr Naseem ul Maqbool were inducted in District Executives Of JKTF Distt Shopian.
